• 3 Year Old Kindergarten Enrolment Procedure
Applications to enter the ballot will be accepted from 9.00am 1st March, 2012 until 3.30pm 31st May 2012. Please attach a copy of your child’s birth certificate with this application, together with a $25 administration fee (cheque/money order/ internet BSB 063590 Account No: 10076536). Please include your name as reference details and attach a printed receipt with this application form. If your child is offered a place, you will be given / sent an acceptance form. If you wish to accept this place you will need to return the acceptance slip, together with a $50 non-refundable deposit, which will be deducted from your 2013 term 1 fees.
Blossom Park Kindergarten requires children to be three years of age by December 31st 2012. All positions are offered on a ballot system, held once applications close. They are not offered by date of receipt.
Please note - Application forms for 2013 are being accepted. Due to universal access commencing for 4 year olds in 2013, Blossom Park Kindergarten is unsure if the 3 year old program is going ahead, and the number of places that will be available. The $25 application fee is still payable, but will be refunded if the program doesn’t run. The fee will not be refunded if the program does go ahead and your child is not selected in the ballot. Dates may be subject to change.

The application form can then be returned together with the a copy of the child’s birth certificate and administration fee, via mail or hand delivered to the Kinder during the enrolment period. The Kinder will not be held responsible for lost or misplaced mail.

• 4 Year Old Kindergarten Enrolment Procedure
Children entitled to a Kindergarten year must turn four years of age on or before 30th April in the year they will attend Kindergarten.
Enrolment forms are available from the City of Whittlesea Offices and Kindergartens within the City of Whittlesea.

Once completed, the enrolment form must be taken or sent (by the parent/guardian) to the City of Whittlesea Offices with the following:
(a) Nominated registration fee;
(b) Proof of the child’s date of birth; and
(c) Proof of residency.
Applications are accepted from 1st March each year for two years prior to the year of Kindergarten attendance. (i.e., you can enrol your child as soon as they turn 2 years of age). Applications close at 5 pm on the 31st May of the year prior to attendance at Kindergarten.
The City of Whittlesea offers Kindergarten placements on a “first come first served basis”.
Placement offers are made by Council in writing, in order of receipt of application commencing in June of the year prior to the Kindergarten year
